Star Readings: Donnie Simpson.

The man with the eyes of a cat! Radio host and VJ Donnie Simpson is back in more ways than one. Every since gracing our television screens with his charm and quick wit on BET's Video Soul. Donnie has always been like a gentle breeze before a storm. Today he shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, he's just getting started.

Donnie's New Show Donnie After Dark.

Old school meets new school. What I pick up for Donnie's show is it not only will it be a hit but it will showcase many of the artists that we have grown to love and that under the radar. Donnie wants the show to be fun but very grown, sexy and laid back. Although, I do pick up some ego coming into play when it comes to his show but that's because he's a big perfectionist and tends to nitpick over the small things. It's going to be something that he will love to do and look forward to doing each week. I pick up at least 3 seasons and there's going to be some travel involved with this show as well. As he wants to showcase many different types of music festivals.

Donnie's Health

Clean eating and cardio. Lots of cardio is what I pick up for Donnie when it comes to health. Donnie darlin', try to focus on both mental and physical health. As you live in your head and you really should be journaling if you aren't already. Donnie knows that when it comes to his body where his strengths and weaknesses lie. Don't overdo it on the weights Donnie and do more squats as you have awesome legs. I also see you cutting back on your carbs and drinking more tea and water. You're on the right track. However, allow yourself some wiggle room and eat some cake. You'll be much happier and stick to your diet better.

Donnie's Marriage and Family

When it comes to marriage and family. It's the little things that truly matter for Donnie. There have been some issues regarding trust and communication in the past. However, that's over and done with as both he and his wife know that they are works in progress and process. I pick up a lot of love and now understanding between the two of them along with lots of laughter. His children, especially his newly married daughter are everything to him. He just wants them to not only be happy but safe and healthy. There is some guilt I feel from not begin either around enough or open emotionally enough with them. Donnie darlin', don't worry, your children love you more than you will ever know.

Donnie and Spirituality.

When it comes to spirituality. There is a huge connection for Donnie as I pick up two people on his mother's side that are in spirit. They're very protective of him and want him to call on them if he needs to. There is also big connection to faith and religion. He's not a fanatic but he does believe in a higher power. Especially, when it comes to prayer. I see that Donnie prays about everything and I do mean everything. There's a huge connection to a grandmother or someone who was like that in his life. Donnie, she wants you to know that she not only loves the fact that as she says “Loves the lord.” but she is very, very proud of you and always knew that you were special. You're a good man Donnie Simpson. A very good man.
