Making a connection:The key to finding love.

Good Afternoon Cubbers Happy Monday! Last night as I was watching Oprah Winfrey interview Tina Turner I had a lot of "light bulb moments" especially when her husband came into the interview and he said that he saw/sees tina as just tina. It didn't matter that she was older, black, white none of that mattered to him. He said that he looked at their connection. Which made me realize that when it comes to love or relationships we often become entranced with the idea of "love" You know, what I'm talking about don't you? The romance, the sweet nothing's, the sex, the "we have everything in common phase." Instead of looking or holding on to that, how about trying to actually connect with someone? When you look for a connection and you find it, the list of requirements fall into the background. It doesn't matter if you're short or that he's not rich. What matters is that you both have found each other and your both willing, ready and

Looking in the mirror: codependent relationships

Good Morning Cubbers Happy Sunday! Here's something that this past weekend has taught me. Codependency on any level is not, I repeat not healthy. It is not your job to "fix" your partner. The only person you can "fix" or as I like to say, repair is yourself. If you're in a relationship (this even includes friendships) where you're doing ALL the work and you're thinking "I can fix them or they'll change" I've got news for you: You're fooling yourself. Instead of focusing on your partners, look in the mirror. That's right, look in the mirror, do the work to and start to repair yourself. Figure out why you attract these codependent relationships. Where does the root of it stem from? Is it loneliness? Low self esteem? Whatever it is, remember this: You are a queen/king and you deserve to rule your kingdom. Now get to work and sit on your throne and rule with all of YOUR power! Love, Leo Brown :) www.psychicleo.com

YOU are destined for greatness!

Hey Cubbers Happy Wednesday! You are destined for greatness. That's right, you! We all are. We all are capable of achieving great things but things like society, family, friends and of course our own vanity either push us down or get in the way of us becoming great. Here's some homework that you can do anytime, anywhere. When you're doubting yourself, think of at least three things you're great at. Doesn't matter what it is. You can either write them down or make a mental note of them. Now, when that's finished think of at least three great things you will notice I didn't say want or wish. Things that you will achieve, they can be big or small it doesn't matter. Because we are all destined for greatness it is our birthright. So now go forth and plant your seeds of achievement! Love, Leo Brown :)

Who inspires you?

Happy Saturday Cubbers! Who is someone who inspires you. Think about that. Who drives you to do better just for begin who they are? The next time you think about giving up or giving in think about that. You are on this plane for a reason. Love, Leo Brown :)

Are you going with the flow?

Hey Cubbers Happy Tuesday! Yesterday was my first canoe trip and it was a life changing experience. As I got into the canoe I started to panic. Soon I started to relax and it wasn't after the trip ended that I realized that the way I lived my life was a lot like how I was in while I was in the boat. Full of panic whenever the waters became choppy, if we hit a rock or if the boat changed direction. For many, many years I feared the thought of things changing in my life. I now am starting to see that it is time for me to go with the flow of life. Yes, waters do become choppy but all we need to do is relax and allow change to happen in over lives. Yes, we can be fearful but fear can and does hold us down only if we allow it to. It is up to us to go with the flow of our lives and emotions for change is always around the corner and sometimes is needed in our lives for us to see that no matter how rocky the boat becomes we're going to be okay. Are you embracing change? Going with th

Are you dating a king or a fool?

Image
Dating sucks or does it? What many of us don't understand or learn until much later in life is that the we allow people to treat us the way we should be treated. This lesson has reared it's head a lot in my life especially when it comes to dating and relationships. I found myself asking countless times, am I dating a king or a fool? Now, many of you may be asking what's the difference between the two? How do I know if I'm dating one? Well, I'm here to help. Hopefully by reading this, you'll seek someone who is fit to sit with you on your throne. The Fool: Ah, the fool. full of life, energy, possibility and wide-eyed wonder. What's wrong with this picture you ask? Nothing if you enjoy spontaneity which you'll get plenty of at the start of things. Now, at the start of things I say enjoy it. Have fun with it. However, if you're looking for something long-term you might wanna move on from the fool. Signs you're dating a fool Talk that
